The New York American Legion Press Association (NYALPA) will honor Legion Family editors and other communicators during its annual awards luncheon July 19 at the New York Department Convention in Niagara Falls.
NYALPA conducts an annual Communications/Best Paper Contest to recognize newsletters, editorials and websites produced by members of the Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion.
The luncheon, which gets underway at 1 p.m. in Sheridan at the Falls Hotel, will also feature election of officers. The lunch buffet starts promptly at 1:30 p.m. and costs $25 per person.
